Riding right under the Pale di San Martino - Route 2263

This route offers the opportunity to follow all the high parts of the valley almost up to Passo Rolle, then return down to Fiera di Primiero passing through San Martino and finally the Val Canali valley.

The variety of landscapes crossed represents the pinnacle of expression of our territory, with the Pale di San Martino towering over dense fir forests, the "masi", alpine huts, and high meadows. It starts with a splendid view of the villages of lower Primiero against the chain of the Vette Feltrine, then climbs to Dismoni where the view of the Pale di San Martino and the famous Spigolo del Velo is sure to amaze. Discover the village of San Martino di Castrozza, a famous holiday destination for European aristocracy in the second half of the 19th century, where a well-deserved break is mandatory in the shadow of the majestic Dolomite walls. The last stretch, along paths and dirt roads, leads us to Val Canali in the heart of the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park, where Villa Welsperg and the suggestive ruins of Castel Pietra allow us to breathe the splendor of a glorious era.
